Kim Hong graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology in 2012. Following graduation, she worked as a caregiver for a child diagnosed with ASD and during that time, she observed several ABA therapy sessions which motivated her to learn more about the field.
In 2013, Kim joined CUSP as a behavior technician and gained experience implementing behavior analytic programs under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Within the first year, she was promoted to the Senior Behavior Technician position and began training new behavior assistants and providing ongoing evaluation of current technicians. From there, she swiftly climbed the ranks to become a Supervising Technician of the Training Division.
In 2018, Kim graduated from California State University, Los Angeles (CSULA) and received her Master of Science degree in Counseling with an option in Applied Behavior Analysis. During her time at CSULA, she completed and published her thesis, “Systematic Review of Behavioral Skills Training.” Kim received her BCBA in 2018 and is currently a Case Supervisor at CUSP.
